Kimee Reed is a library media specialist Arkansas. Her main focus is on making the library the heart of the school. She enjoys finding ways to create outside the box experiences for students to empower them and create lifelong learners. She also enjoys collaborating and connecting with teachers and educators to brainstorm ideas to enhance the library media program and further help students.
Kimee completed 9 years in education at the end of the 2017-2018 school year. Before becoming a library media specialist, she was a high school English teachers for 7 years. She absolutely loves being a teacher-librarian! It may have its challenges, but she is not giving up or quitting because of them. It is all about the students, and they deserve it.
Kimee loves eating spoonfuls of cold, canned chocolate icing. She loves to read, write, and watch crime shows on TV. She likes hiking, eating pizza or Mexican food, spending time with family, traveling, and daydreaming. Oh, and she enjoys dressing in costume to go along with book characters or holidays.
